Introducing Tourism Tokens: More Flexibility for RKLSwims Families

At RKLSwims, we know that family life doesn’t stop for swimming lessons. Holidays, trips away, and special events are all part of life, and sometimes they clash with lesson schedules.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce something brand new to help make swimming lessons more flexible for families.

Introducing Tourism Tokens — launching this April.

Tourism Tokens are designed to give families more freedom when planning holidays, without the worry of cancelling lessons or losing their child’s place in class.

What Are Tourism Tokens?

A Tourism Token allows a swimmer to pause their lesson payments for one month each year when they are away on holiday.

Instead of cancelling your subscription or missing multiple lessons while still paying, you can simply use your Tourism Token for that month.

Your swimmer will:

• Keep their place in their class

• Keep progressing through their pathway

• Avoid the hassle of cancelling and rejoining

It’s a simple way to make swimming lessons work better around family life.

Why We Introduced Tourism Tokens

One of the biggest challenges families face with activities is what happens when they go away.

Traditionally, families have had two options:

• Continue paying while missing lessons

• Cancel their subscription and risk losing their place

Neither option is ideal.

With Tourism Tokens, RKLSwims families now have a third option: pause payments temporarily while still securing their place in class.

This helps keep lessons accessible, convenient, and stress-free.

How Tourism Tokens Work

The system is simple.

Each swimmer receives one Tourism Token per year.

When you know you’ll be away:

1. Notify RKLSwims in advance

2. Apply your Tourism Token to the month you’ll be away

3. Payments are paused for that month

4. Your swimmer returns to their class when you’re back

No cancellations. No losing your spot. Just flexibility when you need it.

Who Can Use a Tourism Token?

Tourism Tokens are available to all RKLSwims swimmers with an active subscription.

They are designed for:

• Family holidays

• Planned trips away

• Extended travel periods

This allows families to plan ahead while keeping their swimmer’s progress on track.

Supporting Families While Maintaining Progress

Swimming progress comes from consistent practice and structured progression. By allowing swimmers to keep their place while away, Tourism Tokens help ensure that returning swimmers can continue right where they left off.
